Dr. Suganya Venkat completed her MBBS at Sri Ramachandra Medical College (SRMC) as a consistent academic topper and five-time gold medalist. She then earned her MD in Pathology from the prestigious Christian Medical College (CMC), Vellore, followed by a DNB in Obstetrics & Gynaecology from GKNM Hospital, Coimbatore. With over 15 years of clinical experience, her approach focuses on understanding root causes rather than treating symptoms alone.

Why I Started Fertilia
During her MD in Pathology at CMC Vellore, Dr. Suganya developed a deep interest in hormonal disorders such as PCOS, particularly the role of lifestyle, stress, sleep, and nutrition in disease progression and reversal. This led her to explore lifestyle-based interventions for PCOS early on, even helping fellow doctors improve their hormonal health through non-pharmacological approaches.
Driven by a desire to work more closely with women and address hormonal and fertility concerns clinically, she went on to pursue her DNB in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at GKNM Hospital, Coimbatore.
Over time, she observed a significant gap in conventional care, where conditions like PCOS and infertility were often managed with medications or procedures, without adequately addressing underlying lifestyle and metabolic factors.
To bridge this gap, she founded Fertilia, a holistic women's health platform built on a multidisciplinary model of care. Fertilia brings together doctors, nutritionists, psychologists, and habit coaches to address women's health concerns in a comprehensive, sustainable, and evidence-based manner.
